The Computer Lab in Coates Hall will be available on Friday from 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM for teams to practice. Any code typed during this time will be lost. Teams will also be able to register and get their packets during the early part of the evening.

At 6:00 PM, we plan to have the traditional Welcome (complete with Pizza and Cola) in the Coates Auditorium. We will also have music provided by a very talented musician who goes by the name John.

At 7:00 PM, we will have a brief Welcome speech. Following this talk, we will have the formal review of the rules and procedures. Any and all questions will be taken at this time (hopefully answered also). It is important for all teams to be present during this time (if possible).

After this, Kudo (Executive Director at 3DO) will speak briefly. He will then adjourn to another classroom for a Question and Answer session. Learn all about the Game Industry from smebody who is there.

Friday evening will also include some entertaiment and diversion. We will have some movies playing in a few of the multimedia classrooms. Our goal is to provide a relaxing evening for the tense as well as a practice area for those who desire one last practice.

Locations will be posted Saturday morning (7:00 AM). Make sure you find out where you will be competing in time to make it to your spot by 9:15 AM. Saturday at 9:15 AM, the practice contest will start. Your packets will include your team logonid. When the Practice Contest is over, all teams should return to the Coates Auditorium. Lunch (planned Poboys and colas) will be served and a last minute Rules Clarification Session will be held.

At noon, the contest will start and run for 5 hours. At 5:30 PM we will review the problem set at the Coates Auditorium. Afterwards, the Awards Banquet will be held in the Field House at 6:30 PM.
